    Wow… I also struggled with this for an hour. It works well in the end. Usually, external filters have an air extraction device, but this one doesn’t have a water extraction device. You need to release the air from the intake port for it to work. The method is Install the inlet and outlet properly. I put the filter container in like a large bowl. Turn the pump side impeller separation area to open it. (When pouring water, make sure to place the filter container in a large bowl) If water flows due to falling from the loading area and all the air is released Please quickly close the pump. Then it operates normally. I also thought there might be something wrong with the motor. I almost gave up, but I figured it out by trying this and that method. It was difficult because it didn’t work when I tried to access the internet, but now it’s functioning normally.

    External filter works great. Had some issues when it wasn’t pumping water into the canister as instructions didn’t mention that the canister need to be filled up with water to start pumping the aquarium water in the tank. Overall its running great. Now need to buy a second one for my other tanks

    First of all, it seems like the filter was changed properly. I saw some reviews saying it wouldn’t work, but it’s working fine. If it’s not defective, then there’s no need to worry. Since it’s an external filter, water management has become easier. 604 is larger than expected in size. The hose is also 16 millimeters in size. I will use it well.

    I have now installed the filter and I am satisfied. It starts immediately on its own and is very quiet as long as you pay attention to prevent contact between the vibrating parts and other surfaces. Alone, I had to add a flow control valve to the outlet pipe after the pump to prevent the tank from emptying when removed for maintenance and also to regulate the flow out rather than in as it should be. In my opinion, the manufacturer should have anticipated this. The package arrived very well packaged and on time.
